Our KINGS
Moovenders (Pandian, Chola and Cheran Kings) came from some other place (legend and hearsay says from the drowned continent Lemuria), settled in South India who diverted rivers and built Dams, brought different spices of plants like rice (paddy), Banana, Turmeric, Beatle nuts, Palm tree etc, dug wells, created agriculture lands, created towns, cities, spread the Tamil language by organizing Tamil Sangam. who created the concept of family with father as the head of the family, formed democracy, devised noble rule of war and created civilization.
The Cholas
The founder of the Chola Empire was Vijayalaya, who was first feudatory of the Pallavas of Kanchi. He captured Tanjore in 850 A.D. The Chola kingdom grew under him into an extensive and well-knit empire, efficiently organized and administered and possessing a powerful standing army and navy.
The Pandyas
The Pandya Dynasty, also known as the Pandyas of Madurai, was a dynasty of south India and Sri Lanka, one of the three ethnically Tamil lineages, the other two being the Chola and the Chera. The Pandyas ruled extensive territories, at times including the large portions of present-day south India and Sri Lanka (through collateral branches subject to Madurai). The early Pandyas ruled their country (the Pandya nadu) from time immemorial, which included the inland city of Madurai and the southern port of Korkai.
The Cheras
The Chera dynasty (or Cera) was one of the principal lineages in the early history of the present day states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in southern India. Together with the Cholas of Uraiyur and the Pandyas of Madurai, the early Cheras were known as one of the three major powers (muventar) of ancient Tamilakam (a macro region in south India) in the early centuries of the Common Era. The Cheras of the early historical period (c. second century BCE – c. third century CE) are known to have had their original centre at Karur/Karuvur-Vanchi in interior Tamil Nadu and harbours at Muchiri (Muziris) and Thondi (Tyndis) on the Indian Ocean coast (Kerala).
